Both are different class of trains so wouldnt be a problem. It can be treated as Himalayan Queen intercity express which used to run before covid and not restored. 70% travellers from Udaipur will get down at Delhi and will be good morning intercity for Delhi Panipat.

IR has changed the length of VB sleeper trains from 16 to 24 coaches and will include luggage vans, pantry car, may be restaurant seating car. So as pantry is included the design of the coach will be changed the present hot buffet arrangements in the coach will pave way for berths. The overall capacity of the train will increase considerable from the earlier 823 traveller berth to over 1200 which means a complete new design from the prototype being manufactured in BEML. The target date next Sep 2025 may be stretched to 2026 Q1 as the design has to start from scratch. The cost of the train set will increase from the present Rs 120 cr per trainset to 180cr which is not mentioned in the article. There is no news about alternate site in local page of Eenadu in the past 2 months. The earlier site allocated I'd not suitable for construction as it falls under Reservoir catchment area and doesn't have approach road and is blocked by another site.

More then new line towards Raipur which takes long time technicallly difficult and financially not much viable MP of RJY should stress for 3rd line and bridge on Godavari on existing pier before Pushakaram to be held in 2027 which will have direct impact to public everyday travelling in Vskp VJA section being BJP state president and good relations in Centre.

1% is nothing they would have considered freight options too in survey. Min ROR required is 14% for new line to be financially viable.The present Kothavalsa Araku doubling of 60km Ghat section remaining will itself take 3 years more as 45 tunnels need to be constructed. This new line will take even more as most of it will be in reserve forest area and Ghat section. GQ, EW, NS corridors of 10,000km is giving 65% of revenue by moving freight and passenger services and its utilization is 150% there is urgent need to increase infrastructure in these lines by adding 3rd and 4th lines and IR is doing it but lacks pace in development.
