Railway Board ordered the reduction of fares and other zones have implemented it, West Central Railway claims to be waiting for instructions from the Ministry of Railways. Other zones like Western Railway, North Central Railway, and South East Central Railway have implemented the reduced fares, with the minimum fare for ordinary trains being ₹10. This reduction is applicable to MEMU, DEMU, passenger, and express special trains. Passengers are complaining about the disparity in fares between different zones, with some routes having a significant difference in fares depending on the direction of travel. West Central Railway officials claim they will implement the reduced fare soon, after receiving instructions from the Ministry.

Ye reduction MEMU, DEMU, passenger, aur express special trains par bhi लागू होगा. Yaatri alag alag zones mein fares mein difference ko lekar complaint kar rahe hai. Kuchh routes mein travel ki direction ke hisab se fares mein bahut difference hai. The West Central Railway is operating these passenger trains as special trains, charging fares equivalent to mail/express trains, while the South East Central Railway charges regular passenger train fares. This discrepancy is attributed to the difference in train classification. The issue is further complicated by the fact that the West Central Railway officials are unaware of any orders regarding the implementation of regular unreserved ticket fares. The local population residing in the backward region served by this rail line is bearing the brunt of this irregular fare structure.

West Central Railway in passenger trains ko special trains ke taur pe operate kar raha hai, aur mail/express train ke equivalent fares charge kar raha hai, jabki South East Central Railway normal passenger train fares charge kar raha hai. Ye difference train classification mein hai. Issue yeh bhi hai ki West Central Railway ke officials ko regular unreserved ticket fares ke implementation ke regarding koi order ki jaankari nahi hai. Is backward region ke locals jo ki is rail line se connected hain, woh is irregular fare structure ka bojh utha rahe hain.
