Western Railway (WR) is adding 12 new suburban services on the Churchgate-Dahanu route starting October 12, bringing the total to 1,406 services. DOWN direction (towards Dahanu). To accommodate the growing number of commuters on the Virar-Dahanu route (now 125,000-130,000 daily), 10 12-car rakes have been converted to 15-car rakes, and 6 services have been extended. The new services will include four between Dahanu and Virar, and the 15-car trains will run as fast trains between Churchgate and Virar.

Virar-Dahanu route pe daily commuters ki badhti hui number (ab 125,000-130,000) ko dekhte hue, WR ne 10 12-car rakes ko 15-car rakes mein convert kar diya hai, aur 6 services extend kiye hain.
