Today did some research regarding the earnings of this train and got these results..(these all results exclude the earnings by wl passengers)
1)approximate sleeper class earning was found to be rupees 361400 (out of ten sl bogies i multiplied rupees 500 as the per pax fare of 8 sl coaches and multiplied 300 rupees as the per passengers fare of the rest the 2 coaches which are for the intermediate pqwl and rlwl halts...
2) the total 3ac earning was found to be 2.25 lakhs

more... the total 2nd and1st ac earning was about 3 lakhs..
The total earning from the reserved class was found to be something around 8.5 lakhs per one side trip...
Now lets consider the expenses..
Fuel expenses :- (as a diesel engine consumes 4-5 litres of diesel/km fand assume the diesel price to be 60 rupees then fuel consumption for 1200 km =3.5 lakhs (though this train covers half of its journey using e loco which are much cheaper in operation).
Let other expenses to be 2-3 lakhs then still we have 3-4 lakh rupees left per trip..
SO MY QUESTION IS WHY ACTUALLY RUNS IN LOSS EVEN THOUGH THE TRAINS RUN CARRYING PASSENGERS TWICE OR THRICE ITS ACTUAL CAPACITY ....
