2) no. Asked one official. He told that that due to single line and two adjacent pf it would be very confusing. The other side(pf 8) was made so that it matches the level of new building on other side and the parking lot and ppl could directly board the train.

more... increase in pf level has been done on 2-3 from the start (hwh side) upto the escalator.
4) no idea about wifi. Is there any wifi services being provided at dhn
5) racks of Ganga Sutlej , Ganga damodar and a lot of spare coaches. If they combine at least 2 SPL trains of 20 coaches could be made easily. Just hitting dust in the coaching complex. Many of them were brand new.
6) I spotted kqr- kawar trains coaches have rsa with kqr-hazaribag with an alco being placed with dhn- asn pass in between pf no 3 and 4.
7) though kmme comes under asn divn but from my childhood dhn has been the mainstay in my life. When I was a student generally used to come by 12324 from ndls or 13010 from DDN. Dhn around 2 am or 2:30 am . deboard catch the memu from dhn at 3:30.
Now I prefer 12260/12302/12274 while coming from ndls.none of them stop at asn. Even in up same condition. Moreover many a times when I don't get cnf tkts to dhn I book in rnc or odisha bound train and deboard at gmo. Now since I am having a vehicle so I think approx 1 hr from dhn- asn in train.. 40 mins drive from there as roads are very congested in asn. So better get dn at dhn and drive to kmme. By the time train reaches asn I am at my home enjoying rasgullas.
