Anyways! I have a suggestion.....
Dhanbad is a big division with lots of kilometres under it's jurisdiction.
It is better to split the present DHN division into two, the present division as it is and a new Singrauli division encompasing of areas from Garwa Road to Singraulli and also including some parts of NCR ALD and WCR JBP namely areas upto KTE and CAR for the newly formed SGRL division that would be under WCR jurisdiction.
The...
more... remaining parts of DHN division still possessing around 400 kms of tracks can be reorganized alongside CKP & RNC divisions of SER into a Jharkhand specific railway zone. That would mean the end of SER's existence effectively. KGP division goes back to ER. ADRA spilts up into two with BQA, PRR going to either KGP or ASN ER, and the remaining portion going over to the RNC or CKP division! Since this solution is effectively not possible practically hence I have little hopes for this solution.
The second and more practical solution would be to re-merge the remaining DHN Division into it's mother ASN Division. Independent existence of DHN division would not be possible if it were to retransferred in ER. Because frankly speaking were it to remain independent, it would be impossible to come out of ECR's clutches and for any chance at devloping DHN it must come out of ECR.
Singrauli should be gone into WCR because why should it start deprived because of ECR's Bihar centric policies...
The primary goal of a railway entity is to be providing the passenger with best possible amenities, being or not being in the top ten profit earning divisions is a secondary issue.
Steps must befirst be taken to rearrange the house in order and in my opinion for mutual survival and thrival DHN and SGRL should be seperated...
Just my two cents :)
