Need to see if the CRS allows operations across this #83 bridge. Likely that he'll allow at a much lower speed not exceeding 20 or less for a period till monsoon. In anticipation of this, SECR has conducted higher speed trials on CNW-NGP section so average speed after GC and electrification is faster than NG. It needs to do better at either alignment/structural design of this bridge so that they can operate in monsoon. IMHO, CRS will do a diesel trial rather than electric and submit report so that the GC of the section is shown complete in this FY. There is a lot of work to do in this section (Bhimalgondi-Bhandarkund), friends. It could be a money spinner for SECR as these are lesser known tourist attractions which could become known/famous.

more... regards CNW station development, the CM needs to be roped in to help acquire land to develop infra, remove encroachments and partner with SECR & CR to build more platforms, pit lines (presently there is none), an ETS to handle elocos and MEMUS (presently all elocos are AJNI P7s), more staff quarters, ROB/RUBs for faster movement of trains in and out of CNW. Remember, it was a big NG hub going onto big BG hub for this area of MP. CM has to show interest in his own constituency and those around. Presently this great agro-city is overly dependent on Nagpur for many of its needs and markets. A speedy link to Nagpur will help it grow.
