Dada Paradeep cannot be compared to Digha in any way. Both r completely different.
1. Paradeep has become a hub of industrial activities. Industries like, IFFCO, PPL(a Adventz group company), CARGILL, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL,
Carbon etc. have been established here.
2. Paradeep has a big PORT also.

more... from all over India comes to work in Paradeep. Any person who is linked with these industries or knows about these industries knows Paradeep very well. Huge potential for Paradeep be it in Freight traffic and Passengers traffic if ECOR utilise these both properly. ECOR uses freight traffic very well but i will expect Passengers traffic in Paradeep should be utilized more. I had earlier given the same proposal at the time of SRC-PRDP Exp, i had then told ECOR to convert SRC-PRDP EXP to INTERCITY type train as several labors, office goers travel to Paradeep for work and for them a train with SL, 2A,3A is not required. Convert it to ICE train and if ECOR cannot SER can give rake. But Khurda Road officials did some survey don't know what and no reply they further result they gave.
Whereas, Digha is completely a tourists spot. Only tourists travel there. Digha i don't think any bengali is there who doesn't know be itSouth or North Bengal people or outside WB bengali everybody knows. I think you know in bengali there is a word called " DIPUDA" famous among all bengalis tourists spots. Here,
