footage from the bus stand, railway station, auto stand, and other places. They gathered information about Sundar's and his associates' activities. Sundar has also admitted to being in Asansol in front of the police. He said that most of the people who met him after arriving in Dhanbad from Asansol, were masked. He is currently on a five-day police remand.
Police investigation revealed that Sundar was taken to Munidih by masked individuals. He was allegedly framed as a bike thief and sent to jail to carry out the crime. He claims he doesn't recognize the person he shared a ward with. He is trying to mislead the police during questioning.
Sundar told the police that he knows Kunal and Yogi from Pratapgarh, UP, who helped him reach Dhanbad. He met them while playing cricket and they later committed various crimes like robbery and snatching together. Kunal was a disciple of Rinku, and through him, he connected with Ashish Ranjan. Rinku and Ashish gave Kunal the responsibility, and Kunal sent Ritesh Yadav, disguised as Sundar Mahto, to Dhanbad jail to carry out the crime. Earlier in 2020, Ritesh had murdered SP leader Rajesh Yadav in UP at Aman's behest.
Sundar's remand is ending on Saturday. He will be sent back to jail. The jail administration, district police, district administration, and SIT are closely monitoring the situation.
The SIT formed by the district administration visited the jail on Saturday. They were accompanied by a team of Dhanbad police. They investigated the crime scene and measured it with tape. The city SP questioned other inmates seen in the CCTV footage regarding the incident.

Usne kaha ki woh ward mein jiske saath rehta tha, use nahin pehchanta. Halanki woh police ko sabhi baaton ka jawab nahin de raha hai. Puchtaach mein woh police ko uljhanew ka prayas kar raha hai.
Sundar ne police ke saamne bataya ki woh UP ke Pratapgarh ke rahne wale Kunal aur Yogi ko jaanta hai. Unhi ke through woh Dhanbad pahuncha. Usne kaha ki cricket khelne ke dauraan unse dosti hui. Baad mein, usne unke saath loot, chhintaai jaise kai incidents ko anjaam diya. Maalum ho ki Kunal, Rinku ka shagird raha hai aur Rinku ke through woh Ashish Ranjan tak pahuncha. Rinku aur Ashish ne Kunal ko jimmedari di aur Kunal ne crime ko anjaam dene ke liye Ritesh Yadav ko Sundar Mahto bana kar Dhanbad jail bheja. Isse pehle 2020 mein, Aman ke kahne par, Ritesh ne hi UP ke SP neta aur prominent leader Rajesh Yadav ki hatya ki thi.
Sundar ka remand shanivaar ko khatam ho raha hai. Usse vapis jail bheja jaayega. Jail administration, district police, district administration aur SIT, is situation pe nazre rakhe hue hain.
District administration dwara banaayi gayi SIT, shanivaar ko jail pahunchi. Unke saath Dhanbad police ki team bhi shamil thi. Unhone crime scene ki jaanch ki aur usse tape se maapi karayi. City SP ne CCTV camera mein dikh rahe jail mein band dusre qaidion se kaand ke sambandh mein puchtaach ki.
