provide convenience for officers who need to travel to different stations for inspections. Notably, the rates for rest houses in the South Eastern Zone, including Tatanagar, are being revised and are expected to be increased by 2.5 to 3 times the current rate. Tatanagar has two rest houses located near the station and Central School which are often occupied due to frequent visits by railway officers from other stations within the Chakradharpur division and South Eastern Zone.
