Pune: One arrested for theft on Chennai Express; 8 lakhs worth stolen goods seized

Vishal Nagtilak-Deshmukh, a 30-year-old resident of Mundhwa, was arrested by Lohmarg Police for stealing gold jewelry worth Rs. 8,77,800 and cash from a passenger on the Chennai Express. Marwah, reported the theft after his wife's purse was stolen. Police reviewed CCTV footage from Pune Railway Station and identified two suspects. Nagtilak-Deshmukh was apprehended while attempting to sell the stolen items in Mumbai. Police recovered stolen goods and some cash from him. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Police Superintendent Tushar Doshi and involved a team of officers.

Nagtilak-Deshmukh ko Mumbai mein churi hue saamaan bechne ki koshish karte hue pakda gaya. Police ne usse churi hue saamaan aur kuchh cash recover kiya.
