Trials are scheduled to begin in July 2024, with the first deployment expected later in the year. The specific city receiving the first Vande Bharat Metro is yet to be announced.

Isse stoppage time kam hoga aur ye fast-paced urban lifestyle ko suit karega. Officials ne 2024 mein Vande Bharat Metro launch ka target set kiya hai. Unhone kaha ki iska testing aage aane wale do mahino mein shuru hoga. Isme automatic doors aur high comfort quotient ke saath-saath, aise features bhi honge jo aaj ke time ke metro trains mein nahi hai. Metro ke extra features ki details, saath mein pictures, jaldi hi public ke saath share ki jaengi. Railway sources ke mutabiq, Vande Metro ki coach configuration alag hogi. Har unit mein 4 coaches honge, aur minimum 12 coaches ek pura Vande Metro train banayenge. Pehle toh minimum 12 Vande Metro coaches introduce kiye jayenge, aur baad mein demand ke hisaab se 16 coaches tak extend kiya ja sakta hai. Official ne kaha ki "Pehle toh 12-coach metro hoga, lekin demand aur city ki requirement ke hisaab se 16 coaches tak extend kiya ja sakta hai."
