Govindpuri will become a key station on the Delhi-Howrah route, potentially bypassing Kanpur Central for several trains, including Rajdhani and Duronto expresses. Construction on Kanpur Central's platforms is expected to begin in July, leading to the relocation of some trains to Panki and Govindpuri. Badoni began the day by inspecting the window trolley at Fatehpur station and arrived at Panki Dham around 11:30 AM, where he inspected ongoing construction work and the old goods shed, suggesting the construction of a new line for racks. He then went to Govindpuri station to assess the progress there.

Govindpuri Delhi aur Howrah route ka pramukh station hai, kai trains ko Central station ko bypass kar yaha se guzara jaayega. Rajdhani aur Duronto jaisi trains yahi se milne lagengi. Wahi, Central station ke platforms pe July se kaam shuru ho sakta hai, jis par kai trains ko Panki aur Govindpuri stations pe shift kiya jaayega.
