The inauguration was seen as a way to boost student enthusiasm. Sri M. B. Muralidhar, Dy. Chief Personnel Officer (IR), SCR, discussed plans to introduce guest faculty, improve infrastructure, enhance cleanliness, introduce new courses like BBA and B.Com. (Finance), install 24 CCTV cameras, and launch a college website to promote the Railway Degree College. Dr. G. Bhashyam was a special guest at the inauguration, while Dr. Sopan Kasinath, Principal of the college, motivated students to excel in academics and sports, aiming to restore the college's past glory in the present context.
