routes. So far, 2,583 route kilometers out of a total of 4,260 route kilometers have been electrified. Electrification has been completed in various northeastern states, including Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura. Additionally, 318.87 route kilometers have been electrified in Bihar and 864.94 route kilometers in West Bengal. Electrification reduces reliance on crude oil, minimizes pollution, and saves foreign exchange. It also increases train speeds, reduces traction change times, and improves train scheduling on the Northeast Frontier Railway. Indian Railway Construction International Limited (IRCON) and Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) are undertaking the electrification work in various sections.

ka electrification bhi shamil hai. Ab tak 4,260 route kilometers mein se 2,583 route kilometers electrified ho chuke hain. Northeast ke different states mein electrification complete ho chuka hai, jaise ki Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, aur Tripura. Iske alawa Bihar mein 318.87 route kilometers aur West Bengal mein 864.94 route kilometers electrification complete ho chuka hai. Electrification se crude oil par dependancy kam hogi, pollution kam hoga, aur foreign exchange bachega. Isse train speed bhi badhegi, traction change ka time kam hoga, aur Northeast Frontier Railway par train scheduling bhi better hoga. Indian Railway Construction International Limited (IRCON) aur Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) different sections mein electrification ka kaam kar rahe hain.
