be ready by now, neither supplier has started work yet. Meanwhile, BEML and ICF in Chennai are supplying 10 trains, with the first commercial rollout expected later this year. Kinet Railway Solutions, a joint Indo-Russian venture, is tasked with supplying 120 trains and the BHEL-TRS consortium is to supply 80 trains, both at a cost of Rs 120 crore per 16-coach rake. Discussions are ongoing to finalize the requested changes and a revised timeline will be set once the details are agreed upon. In a separate development, the arrival of 200 sleeper variant Vande Bharat trains might be delayed due to ongoing discussions regarding modifications to the design of coaches and train length. The progress on the prototype for these sleeper trains has also been slow. The 14th RAHSTA Expo, part of the India Construction Festival, will be held on October 9 and 10, 2024, at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai.

contract mila tha. Prototype train ek saal mein aani thi, lekin abhi tak dono suppliers ne kaam start nahi kiya hai. BEML aur ICF (Chennai) ne 10 trains supply karne ka contract mila hai, jisme se pehla commercial rollout is saal ke akhir mein hone wala hai. Kinet Railway Solutions, ek Indo-Russian joint venture, 120 trains supply karega aur BHEL-TRS consortium 80 trains supply karega, har 16-coach rake ka price Rs 120 crore hai. Indian Railways se changes finalize karne ke liye baatein chal rahi hain, ek baar details finalize ho jaayenge, toh ek new project timeline set kiya jaayega. Kinet Indian Railways ke saath full cooperation mein contract deliver karne ke liye ready hai. Alag se, 200 sleeper variant Vande Bharat trains mein delay aane ki baat bhi aayi hai, kyunki coaches ke design aur train length mein modifications ki baat kar rahe hain. Sleeper trains ke prototype pe bhi kaam slow chal raha hai. India Construction Festival ka part, 14th RAHSTA Expo, October 9 aur 10, 2024 ko Mumbai ke Jio Convention Centre mein hoga.
