Indian Railways is continuously expanding online ticketing and payment facilities. To further ease ticket booking via digital means, QR code payment has been introduced at 79 ticket counters across Prayagraj Division, including all unreserved ticket counters at Prayagraj Junction. The facility has been implemented at 9 counters in Prayagraj Junction, 7 in Kanpur Central, 5 in Aligarh Junction, 3 in Prayagraj Chheoki Station, and 2 each in Fatehpur, Kanpur Anwarganj, Khurja, Phaphund, Tundla, Dadri, Mirzapur, Vindhyachal, and Shikohabad stations. Additionally, QR code payment is now available at one unreserved ticket counter each in Govindpuri, Chunar, Etawah, Jhinjhak, Pankeedham, Manikpur, Hathras, Sirathu, Naini, Narayanpur Bazaar, Pahada, Kalhat, Jeevanathpur, Gaipura, Birohi, Bhirpur, Jigna, Karachana, Dagamgpur, Unchdih, and Jhingura stations. Furthermore, one ticket counter in Dadri Station has been equipped with UPI app-based QR code payment for ticket distribution.
