Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs). The meeting focused on development initiatives and issues affecting the Asansol and Malda divisions. Key participating MPs included Shri Shatrughan Prasad Sinha, Shri Kirti Azad Jha, Shri Girihari Yadav, Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed, Shri Khagendra Murmu, Shri Ajay Kumar Mandal, Shri Nalin Soren, and Shri Dulu Mahato, along with representatives of other MPs and ministers. Shri Shatrughan Prasad Sinha was elected as the chairman of the meeting. The meeting highlighted key achievements in the past two years, including progress on the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, installation of lifts and escalators, opening of 'One Station One Product' (OSOP) stalls, construction of new and expanded Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), and introduction of additional stoppages and services for local and express trains. The meeting also discussed the launch of Vande Bharat Express trains and the construction of VIP lounges. The MPs praised the development under the leadership of the Hon'ble Railway Minister, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. Shri Shatrughan Prasad Sinha emphasized the need for further expansion of Vande Bharat services and proposed extending the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi, among other suggestions. Other MPs, including Shri Girihari Yadav and Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed, made additional proposals for enhanced services and amenities. The General Manager of Eastern Railway, Mr. Milind Deuskar, assured that all suggestions would be analyzed for feasibility and implemented after approval from competent authorities. The Railway is committed to enhancing infrastructure and passenger amenities across its network.

Railway apne network mein infrastructure aur passenger facilities ko enhance karne ke liye committed hai.
