Due to pre-NI work ongoing at Bapudham Motihari Junction yard for the doubling of the Muzaffarpur-Valmikinagar railway line, train timings were altered on Sunday. from Raxaul to Howrah was also rescheduled by 4.5 hours, arriving at Bapudham Motihari around 6 PM. Passengers were informed of these changes through station staff and mobile apps, though the Mithila Express information was not available on the app. There was some confusion with the Saptkranti Express, as passengers boarded the down train on platform 4 thinking it was the up train, prompting the RPF to intervene.

ki jagah 2.35 PM par chali. Raxaul se Howrah jaane wali Mithila Express ko bhi 4.5 hours late kar diya gaya aur yeh shaam 6 baje ke aaspas Bapudham Motihari pahunchi. Passengers ko station staff aur mobile apps se yeh information mili, lekin Mithila Express ki information app par nahi thi. Saptkranti Express ko lekar confusion bhi hua, kyunki passengers platform 4 par khadi down train par chadh gaye, sochkar ki yeh up train hai. Iske baad RPF ne intervene kiya.
