aims to modernize 1309 stations nationwide, transforming them into world-class terminals with improved amenities. The scheme will also include the inauguration of 1500 Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs). Maharashtra has received a record allocation of 15554 crores for the scheme, with 56 stations planned for development. The 11 suburban stations in Mumbai will undergo a major transformation and redevelopment, with specific upgrades outlined for each station. For example, Byculla station will see the construction of a new booking office, a multi-story parking facility, and new toilet facilities. Sandhurst Road station will focus on renovating the booking office and providing improved access for people with disabilities. The overall project aims to enhance the passenger experience, ensuring comfortable and convenient rail travel.

Maharashtra ko scheme ke liye record allocation 15554 crores mila hai, aur 56 stations ko develop karne ka plan hai. Mumbai ke 11 suburban stations ka major transformation and redevelopment hoga, har station ke liye specific upgrades diye gaye hain.
