estimated to cost ₹14.11 crore and will create modern amenities for passengers. The project is expected to boost tourism in the region and also includes plans for a Vande Bharat train from Tanakpur. The local MP, Ajay Tamta, highlighted the completion of the Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail line survey and the potential for connecting Kedarkhand and Mansakhand via rail. He also expressed hopes for a daily train service to Mathura and a two-minute stop at Banbasa for all trains, as per local requests.

Isme Tanakpur se Vande Bharat train chalaane ki bhi plan hai. Unhone Mathura ke liye daily train service aur Banbasa mein har train ke 2 minutes rukne ki demand ko bhi support kiya.
