On Tuesday night, the body of a young man was found on the down railway track between Maitha and Bhaupur stations on the Delhi-Howrah railway line. His identity was confirmed through a ticket for a Rohtak to Katihar express train dated May 13 and an Aadhaar card found on him. His mobile phone was used to contact his family, who confirmed that he had been working in Rohtak and was on his way home. His wife Kavita and brother-in-law Chhail Bihari reported that he had left Rohtak on May 13 but his phone had been off since then. The police are investigating the cause of death and have sent the body for a postmortem. His family is expected to arrive from Bihar soon.
