but the railway had issued a notice three months ago requesting the land for construction. Over 15 makeshift houses were demolished. On June 5th, a similar operation demolished 10 houses. The railway is planning to demolish more structures for the new running room and has warned residents to vacate. The railway is also demolishing quarters near Tatanagar station to build a crew guard lobby and is planning to remove encroachments from Traffic Colony, Guddi Bazaar, and Engineering Colony as part of the Tatanagar station redevelopment project.

Naya running room banne ke liye, aur bhi kacche makan aur jhopriyan todi jaa rahi hain. Railway IOW ne local logo ko hatne ki chetavni di hai. Tatanagar station pe crew guard lobby banane ke liye, railway quarters bhi tode gaye hain aur jareej quarters ko agency ke zariye toda ja raha hai. Tatanagar station ke punarvikash se Traffic Colony, Guddi Bazaar aur Engineering Colony se bhi encroachment hatane ki taiyaari hai.
