However, railway employees managed to put the derailed coach back on track by 6 am, resuming normal operations on the washing line. However, the Ernakulam and Itwari Express trains departed from Tatanagar station two hours late. The Ernakulam Express left at 7:15 am instead of 5:15 am, and the Itwari Express left at 8:20 am instead of 6:40 am, causing inconvenience to hundreds of passengers.
