The increase in ridership is attributed to the new 10-minute frequency and the recent fare reduction, which has made Metro travel more affordable for students, with a cumulative discount of 50% for students using Maha Cards. This increase in ridership defies the usual trend of decreased ridership during school vacations, with Metro consistently maintaining a monthly footfall above 20 lakh this year.

Is increase ka reason hai train frequency ka badhna, aur fare mein reduction, jisse Metro students ke liye sasta ho gaya hai, Maha Card se 50% tak discount mil raha hai. School vacations mein, aam tor pe, Metro mein kam passengers hote hain, lekin is saal yeh trend break ho gaya hai, aur Metro ne har mahine 20 lakh se zyada passengers ko maintain kiya hai.
