The heritage train features two AC VistaDome coaches (C1 & C2) and three non-AC coaches (D1, D2, & D3). Tourists have already booked tickets for the upcoming two Sundays. The 10km route offers breathtaking views of Patalpani station, waterfall, Valley Bridge, Kalakund, and tunnels. The train departs from Patalpani at 11:05 AM and reaches Kalakund at 1:05 PM. The return journey from Kalakund starts at 3:34 PM and reaches Patalpani at 4:30 PM. Railway officials are considering operating a DEMU train from Indore to Mahu and Patalpani to cater to tourists. Initially, passengers might have to travel to Patalpani via road, but the railway has inspected the broad-gauge rail line from Mahu to Patalpani and might extend the existing 09390 DEMU train from Ratlam to Patalpani. This would enable direct train connectivity from Indore and Mahu to Patalpani.

Railway officials Indore se Mahu aur Patalpani tak tourists ke liye DEMU train chalane par soch rahe hain. Shuruat mein, passengers ko Patalpani tak road se jaana padega, lekin railway ne Mahu se Patalpani tak broad-gauge rail line ka inspection kar liya hai aur existing 09390 DEMU train ko Ratlam se Patalpani tak extend kiya ja sakta hai. Isse Indore aur Mahu se Patalpani tak direct train connectivity mil jaayegi.
