He also proposed the early commencement of work on the new railway line sanctioned in 2006 between Bariarpur and Mananpur, running the Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchal Express daily via Jamalpur, starting a new daily train to Delhi in view of the increasing crowd in the Vikramshila Express, building 3 new platforms at Jamalpur, running new MEMU trains on the Munger-Begusarai-Khagaria route, and running the Muzaffarpur Intercity via Munger. Additionally, he raised several issues like providing stoppages for Garib Rath, Farakka Express, and Lokmanya Tilak Express at Dharhara station. He also requested that the railway operate the Bhagalpur-Katihar via Munger train and the Ang Express three days a week. The MP's representative also presented other proposals.
