Kolkata. He is a 1987 batch officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service and has held important positions in various zonal railways. Before becoming the General Manager at CORE, he was the Principal Chief Materials Manager in North Western Railway. Verma has also served as DRM in the Bangalore Division of South Western Railway, ADRM in Jhansi Division, and Executive Director of Railway Stores in the Railway Board.
