the offense of chain pulling, which can result in a penalty of up to one year in prison under section 141 of the Railway Act. In 2023, 3,129 people were fined ₹14.71 lakh for chain pulling. The RPF has urged the public to refrain from chain pulling to maintain train punctuality.

Aisa karne par, section 141 Railway Act ke tahat action liya jata hai, jismein 1 saal tak ki saza ka pravaan hai. 2023 mein, 3129 logon par 14.71 lakh rupees ka penalty lagaaya gaya.
