This decision came after a delegation led by the general secretary of the North Central Railway Employees Union, RP Singh, met with the then chairman of the Railway Board, Jaya Verma Sinha, during her visit to Prayagraj last month. The union had submitted a letter to the CRB requesting an increase in the remuneration of all contract doctors.

Ye faisla tab aaya jab pichhle mahine Prayagraj daura par aayi hui tatkaalin chairman of Railway Board, Jaya Verma Sinha se North Central Railway Employees Union ke mahamantri RP Singh ke netritv mein ek pratnindhitmandal ne mulaqat ki thi. Tab employees union ki taraf se sabhi contract doctors ka mandey badhaane sambandhi patra CRB ko saumpa gaya tha.
