Technical glitches cause chaotic Monday for rail commuters in Mumbai

These glitches caused delays of 30 to 40 minutes and forced passengers to use alternative transportation. The technical issues at CSMT are expected to persist for another 2-3 days, while CR operated extra metro trains on lines 2A and 7 to ease the congestion. Passengers expressed frustration with the disruptions, especially since they were caused by mega blocks conducted recently. Railway passenger associations criticized the lack of proper planning and the delays experienced by commuters.
