of the North Railway. The scrap from 70 condemned quarters in Fateh Ali Talab Colony in Anand Nagar was sold for 33.67 lakh rupees, 242% higher than the government cost of 13.90 lakh rupees. This is notable as the same colony was the site of a tragedy where 5 members of a family died when a roof collapsed. Senior Divisional Material Manager Krishna Murari played a crucial role in the scrap disposal. DRM Dr. Manish Thaplyal and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rekha Sharma urged other departments to work with similar dedication.
