The railway is taking steps to address the situation on routes with high passenger demand. However, special train operations are unlikely due to the fog, and there are limited prospects for increasing the number of coaches. On Monday, train delays of two to three hours were reported due to fog, causing overcrowding at Agra Fort and Cantt railway stations. Several trains had passengers sitting by the doors of their sleeper coaches. Disputes arose over seating on the AP Express, but other passengers managed to resolve the situation. Currently, six flights are operating from Kheria Airport, with daily flights to Lucknow, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad and the remaining three to four days a week. According to an official from Indigo, the Bengaluru and Ahmedabad flights are 90 percent full, while Jaipur and Mumbai flights are 75 percent full and the Bhopal flight is 65 percent full. The yard remodeling at Barabanki station in the Lucknow railway division will be conducted from December 13 to 29, resulting in the cancellation of 18 trains, including the Udaipur City-Kamakhya Express, Chhapra-Mathura Junction, and Gorakhpur-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Express.
