The delegation had previously met with the Minister of State for Railways, Rao Saheb Patil Danve, in New Delhi on December 22nd, who had instructed the DRM to discuss the matter. The underpass is needed because a previous crossing gate was closed, causing inconvenience for the local residents. The absence of an underpass or a linking road has made travel difficult, including access to the Tajia route.
