The Chief Minister stated that the private sector is keen to invest in the expansion of metro services and that the PPP model should be considered. He also emphasized the need to encourage business activities at metro stations, ensure passenger safety, and adhere to safety standards during construction. The CM also reviewed the progress of the Kanpur and Agra Metro projects, which are currently in the process of expanding to two new phases. He emphasized that there should be no shortage of funds for projects that are in the public interest and that projects should be completed within the stipulated time frame. Adityanath also instructed officials to encourage the use of electric buses and e-rickshaws in Gautam Buddh Nagar and 17 municipal corporations.
