State government provided financial support of Rs 150 crore to the metro during this quarter, bringing the total support to Rs 900 crore. To address financial challenges, L&T plans to invest Rs 2,774 crore in L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad through a rights issue, aiming to reduce debt and interest burden. The metro's income for the past three fiscal years has been Rs 703.20 crore (FY23), Rs 475.37 crore (FY22), and Rs 386.02 crore (FY21).
