has received INR 41119 crore, with INR 3000 crore allocated for 2024-25. The project is nearing completion with 80% of the work already done. The railway track from Banihal to Qazigund has been laid and successfully trialled. Currently, the overhead line is being installed, expected to be completed by February 5th, after which train services will be launched. The USBRL also includes the world's highest rail bridge in Anji, Reasi, which has been completed. The construction of tunnels between Reasi and Ramban is ongoing. Once complete, the USBRL will connect Jammu to Srinagar, reducing travel time. The government also plans to introduce Vande Bharat express trains on the route after completion, further enhancing connectivity.

ko INR 41119 crore mile hain, jismein 2024-25 ke liye INR 3000 crore allocate kiye gaye hain. Project almost complete hai, 80% kaam ho chuka hai. Banihal se Qazigund tak railway track bhi lay kiya gaya hai, aur uspe successful trial bhi ho gaya hai. Ab overhead line lagaai ja rahi hai, jiska February 5th tak complete hone ki ummeed hai. Iske baad Qazigund tak train services start ho jaayengi. USBRL mein Reasi ke Anji mein world's highest rail bridge bhi ban gaya hai. Reasi aur Ramban ke beech tunnels banne ka kaam bhi chal raha hai. Completion ke baad, USBRL Jammu ko Srinagar se connect karega, aur travel time kam ho jaayega. Government ka plan hai ki complete hone ke baad is route par Vande Bharat express train bhi chalai jaaye, yeh connectivity ko aur behtar karega.
