Moreover, the connection between the East-West line and the North-South corridor at Esplanade is questioned for its readiness. emergency situations mein evacuation plan bhi hai, kyunki Dharmatala mein koi emergency shaft nahin banaya gaya hai. Iske alawa, Salt Lake ke Karunamayi mein sirf ek depot hai, Howrah Maidan mein koi extra depot nahin hai, isse yeh concern uth raha hai ki malfunctioning trains ko kahaan le jaaya jaayega. Iske saath hi, East-West line aur North-South corridor ke beech Esplanade mein connection ki readiness par bhi sawal uthaye jaa rahe hain. Ye sabhi concerns Lok Sabha elections se pehle service start karne ki possibility par doubt daal rahe hain.
