The company is conducting soil tests, which are in the final stages, by setting up barricades in various locations between Rawatpur Gutaiya Crossing and Doublepulia. Meanwhile, preparations for construction have also begun. Construction work will commence at the Roadways workshop located next to the Rawatpur elevated metro station. Demolition work and debris removal are already underway and will be completed by this month. Excavation and D-wall construction for the Rawatpur underground metro station will begin in the next month. After reaching a depth of about 18 meters, the tunnel boring machine (TBM) parts will be transported and assembled to initiate tunnel excavation towards Kakadev. Construction of the Kakadev and Doublepulia underground metro stations will follow the completion of the Rawatpur underground station. The 23-kilometer long Corridor-1, stretching from IIT to Gallamandi, is progressing rapidly with the aim of completing it by December. The metro train operations between IIT and Motijheel are already operational, with work ongoing further towards Chunni Ganj, Mall Road, Kanpur Central, Jhakarakati, Transportnagar, Barad Devi, and finally to Gallamandi near Nauwabasta Hamirpur Road.

Karib 18 meter gahrai tak khodai aur D-wall banane ke baad tunnel boring machine (TBM) ke purze wahaan pahunchaaye jayenge aur unhe jod kar Kakadev ki taraf tunnel ki khodai shuru karaai jaayegi. Rawatpur underground station ke construction ki shuruaat ke baad Kakadev aur Doublepulia underground metro stations ka kaam shuru hoga. 23 kilometer lamba Corridor-1, IIT se Gallamandi tak, tez se chal raha hai aur isse December tak pura karne ki deadline hai.
