Haryana Government has also approved the project, highlighting its importance for the state's development. The corridor will connect Haryana and Delhi directly to four Gujarat ports (Kandla, Mundra, Navlakhi, and Jakhau), boosting economic development. The final location survey for the double railway line from Garhi Harsaru to Loharu will be conducted using LiDAR technology, with an allocated budget of ₹3.19 crore. The corridor will link various parts of Haryana and connect Bahadurgarh, Sonepat, Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad, and Palwal through the Orbital Rail Corridor. The proposed six stations in Jhajjar district will serve as shortcuts for trains traveling from Delhi to Rajasthan and Gujarat, reducing travel time and improving business relations. The South Haryana Economic Rail Corridor aims to contribute to Haryana's economic growth and connect the state with the national transportation network, providing new employment opportunities for local residents.
