The ECREU had argued that moving the department to the Carriage and Wagon department of the Mechanical Branch in 2019 had caused practical difficulties for both employees and supervisors, hindering their daily operations and communication. The Railway Board initially approved the department's transfer in 2019 but zonal officials did not implement it until now. The ECREU's efforts, which included contacting the Railway Board, have finally led to the department's return to the Electrical General Department, much to the satisfaction of employees.

ECREU ka yeh argument tha ki 2019 mein department ko Mechanical Branch ke Carriage and Wagon department mein transfer karne se dono employees aur supervisors ko kaam karne mein dikkat aa rahi thi, jisse unka daily operations aur communication bhi prabhavit ho raha tha. Railway Board ne 2019 mein department transfer ke liye approve toh kar diya tha, lekin zonal officials ne uske baad bhi ispe koi action nahi liya. ECREU ne Railway Board se contact karke yeh matter uthaya, jiske baad aakhirkar department ko Electrical General Department mein vapis karne ka faisla aaya hai, aur employees isse khush hain.
