The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is responsible for preparing the detailed project report (DPR), including lidar surveys, traffic studies, social impact assessments, and environmental impact assessments. The route will include 10 stations: Delhi, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Ambala, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Beas, and Amritsar. The train's operational speed is planned to be 320 km/h, with an average speed of 250 km/h. The project covers Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab states. The NHSRCL is committed to minimizing environmental pollution through best management practices during construction and operation.
