to higher authorities for approval. The station superintendent, after taking charge on Saturday, inspected all platforms and held meetings with officials and staff. It is worth noting that the central government had announced in the 2011 budget to make Panipat and several other railway stations across the country model stations. This includes providing amenities like lifts and escalators. While a lift is already functional at Panipat railway station, escalators have not yet been installed. Notably, escalators were installed on the platforms of the neighboring Sonipat district, which was also included in the model station project in 2022. The proposal for escalators in Panipat remains pending.

Unhone officers aur staff ke saath meeting bhi ki. Central government ne 2011 ke budget mein Panipaat aur desh ke kai aur railway station ko model station banane ka announcement kiya tha. Isme lift aur automatic seedee-yaa ke ilawa aur bhi saare suvidhaen yaatriyon ko di jaani hain. Panipaat railway station pe lift chal rahi hai, lekin automatic seedee-yaa nahi lagi hai. Panipaat ke saath model station mein shamil Sonipat district ke platform par 2022 mein automatic seedee-yaa lag gai hain. Panipaat mein yeh proposal abhi tak adhikaariyon ke paas pending hai.
