to complete, includes safety features like an escape tunnel and water pipes for fire suppression. The opening of this section brings India closer to connecting the Kashmir Valley to Kanyakumari via rail. The USBRL, once completed, will boast infrastructural marvels like the Chenab bridge, the world's highest railway bridge, and the Anji bridge, the first cable-stayed bridge of the Indian Railways. The total length of the USBRL is 272 km and the cost of the project is ₹41,119 crore. The first section of the USBRL, the Quazigund-Baramulla section, was operationalised in 2009, and the Banihal-Quazigund section, including the T-80 Pir Panjal tunnel, opened in 2013.

Tunnel, jisko complete hone mein lag-bhag 14 saal lage, mein escape tunnel aur fire suppression ke liye water pipes jaise safety features hain. Is section ke khulne se India, Kashmir Valley ko Kanyakumari se rail se connect karne ke sapne ke kareeb aa gaya hai. USBRL, jab complete ho jaayega, toh usme Chenab bridge, dunia ka sabse uncha railway bridge, aur Anji bridge, Indian Railways ka pehla cable-stayed bridge jaise infrastructural marvels honge. USBRL ki total length 272 km hai aur project ki cost ₹41,119 crore hai. USBRL ka pehla section, Quazigund-Baramulla section, 2009 mein operationalised kiya gaya tha, aur Banihal-Quazigund section, jismein T-80 Pir Panjal tunnel bhi shamil hai, 2013 mein khula tha.
