allocation of Rs 2500 crore has been sanctioned for the project. Land acquisition for the 235-kilometer railway line has started in Sinnar taluka in Nashik. The line will be constructed by MAHARAIL and will accommodate semi-high-speed trains. Fadnavis's meeting with the Railway Minister was to address any obstacles and speed up construction. Fadnavis also met former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Mumbai.
