Due to the construction of a third line and other works on the Gonda-Burhwal section of the Lucknow Division, train operations have been altered starting Monday, affecting several trains including the Saptakranti Express. The 02563-64 Barauni-New Delhi Special, operating on March 4th and 5th, will take the route Chhapra-Ghazipur City-Varanasi-Banaras-Prayagraj-Kanpur Central. Additionally, the 02569-70 Darbhanga-New Delhi Special, 12553-54 New Delhi-Saharsa Vaishali, and 12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Bihar Sampark Kranti trains will follow altered routes on March 4th and 5th. The 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Amrapali Express will depart Katihar two hours and twenty minutes late on March 4th. The 15910 Awadh Assam Express arrived Muzaffarpur eight hours and 37 minutes late on Sunday due to the route changes, while the 15909 Awadh Assam arrived six hours and 41 minutes late. Other trains affected include the 11123 Gwalior-Barauni, 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Special, 02564 New Delhi-Barauni Special, and 19601 Udaipur City-New Jalpaiguri Express, all arriving Muzaffarpur with varying delays. These delays caused congestion at the Muzaffarpur Junction on Sunday, impacting platform cleanliness.
