Jasidih at 12:17 AM and depart at 12:19 AM. This decision comes after MP Nishikant Dubey requested the railway ministry to add a stop at Jasidih. Additionally, a multi-modal hub worth 157 crores is being built near the Kathon station on the Deoghar-Godda railway line. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the hub on March 12th at 11 AM. The hub is expected to boost the economic growth of the region by connecting various modes of transportation like railways, automobiles, and public transport. It will also facilitate the transportation of agricultural produce like rice, milk, and vegetables to other states via freight trains, thus increasing farmers' income. The inauguration of the multi-modal hub will be followed by the inauguration of a newly built washing pit at Deoghar station and a rack point at Mohanpur Junction. The washing pit at Deoghar station was constructed at a cost of 26 crores and can accommodate up to 24 bogies. The rack point at Mohanpur Junction was built at a cost of 6 crores.
