The project to double the railway track between Tarighat and Mau, including the duplication of the city station in Zamania, Ghazipur, remains incomplete. The new 9.600 km railway route to Tarighat, a part of the expansion project, has not been completed even after seven years despite costing approximately 35 crore rupees.
