The SRRP, spanning 45 km, includes 14 tunnels, 13 major bridges, and 9 minor bridges. The longest tunnel (T-10) is 5.3 km, and the longest bridge (Br-17) is 425 meters. 93% of tunneling work is complete. Final lining has been completed in tunnels T-14 and T-09 and is underway in others. This project, upon completion, will connect Sikkim to the Indian railway network for the first time, providing alternative and stable connectivity.

599-meter lamba evacuation tunnel, yeh dono hi mushkil geological conditions se guzarte hain. 45 km lamba SRRP, 14 tunnels, 13 bade bridges, aur 9 chhote bridges se bana hai. Sabse lamba tunnel (T-10) 5.3 km lamba hai, aur sabse lamba bridge (Br-17) 425 meters lamba hai. Tunneling ka kaam 93% complete ho chuka hai. Final lining tunnel T-14 aur T-09 mein complete ho chuki hai, aur baaki tunnel mein yeh kaam chal raha hai. Is project ke complete hone par, Sikkim ko pehli baar Indian railway network se jod diya jayega, aur isse state ko alternate and stable connectivity milegi.
