as Sundaram, was brought to BHU hospital in Varanasi by his uncle, Shyam Kumar Yadav, for kidney treatment. They arrived at the station on the Gondhia Express at midnight and fell asleep on the station premises. The boy went missing between 2:30 AM and 3:15 AM, prompting his uncle to report the matter to the GRP. The boy was found around 10 AM the same morning. Both returned to their village later that evening.

Mama ne bataya ki raat 2:30 tak bachcha uske pass tha, par 3:15 pe jaagta toh bachcha nahin tha. As-paas dhundne ke baad, unhone GRP police station pe report ki. Subah 10 baje, GRP station se unko pata chala ki bachcha mil gaya. Sham ko dono apne gaon laut gaye.
